Our Mission
Providing a safe and comfortable environment for those who desire quality and personal care that promotes healing and satisfaction.
Our Story
Tranquil Country Living was established by Oksana and Leonid in order to provide a home for the elderly; a place where they could be part of a family and know they are loved. Having a passion to care for those who need extra support, Oksana and Leonid opened an Adult Family Home.
In particular, they desired to make a difference for the elderly community by providing them a home where they can be well taken care of and where their needs can be heard.
On account of multiple people who sought after finding a small long-term facility for their elders, Oksana and Leonid took action to meet the needs of the elderly community. Above all, they wanted residents and their relatives to feel like family.
Established in 2017, Tranquil Country Living serves elderly individuals who desire high quality care with one-on-one caregiver assistance. With a low resident-to-caregiver ratio, residents receive personal care in a nurturing environment.
We know that in our Adult Family Home, your loved ones will feel the comfort, safety, and tranquility that retirement should offer. We look forward to welcoming you into our family and hope you find our home to be the one that has it all.
Facility Structure
Our home is specifically structured to accommodate all amenities and equipment a senior would require.
Accordingly, the facility meets specific regulations to ensure maximum support and comfort. In particular, the facility is wheelchair accessible and includes grab bars and assisting rails on entryways and bathrooms.
Above all, our home staff provide the following to meet resident needs:
- 24-hour supervision
- assistance with activities of daily living
- medication administration
- nutritious homemade meals
- all the comforts of a loving home
Likewise, our home has a registered nurse on call and monthly visits from an in-home doctor to ensure residents’ health needs are met.
About Provider and Staff
Working in a clinic and a hospital setting for many years, Oksana has an extensive medical background and is knowledgeable in various care practices – with over 15 years of experience in healthcare and caregiving. Given these qualifications, Oksana is diligent in monitoring resident health and meeting their care needs.
Specifically, our Provider holds the following qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certified
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Dementia Specialty Certifications
- Nurse Delegation Certified
- Developmental Disabilities Specialty Certified
- CPR Certified
- First Aid Certified
- Food Handler Certified
- Fundamentals of Caregiving – Manager
Because the elderly require personal and specialized care, we ensure all our staff are adequately trained in geriatric care and possess all necessary qualifications.
We take the hiring of our staff seriously, and look for those who are skilled, patient, attentive, and passionate about caring for the elderly.
